Adrian Berendt
Adrian Berendt is director at 20’s Plenty for Us, a national road safety organisation advocating for the implementation of 20mph speed limits in communities across the UK. Based in Tunbridge Wells, Berendt has played a pivotal role in championing lower speed limits in Kent, working closely with local authorities and residents to improve road safety and promote active travel. With more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, he has specialised in finance, risk management, and change consulting, holding senior roles in major institutions. Alongside his professional work, Berendt has held strategic advisory and trustee positions in the charity sector, and previously chaired ACCA’s Governance, Risk and Performance panel. Passionate about road danger reduction and sustainable transport, he leads the 20’s Plenty campaign across the South East, supporting evidence-based policy to make streets safer, healthier, and more accessible for all.
