Dr. Vicky Edmonds is chief executive officer of EVA England and a leading expert in the electric vehicle and net-zero policy landscape. With nearly 20 years’ experience in UK government transport decarbonisation, Edmonds formerly led the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, where she oversaw the UK’s 2030 petrol and diesel phase-out and major programmes such as the £950 million Rapid Charging Fund. A long-time EV driver, she brings direct user insight to her policymaking. Edmonds has also contributed to legislation including the 2018 Automated and Electric Vehicles Act and worked on broader decarbonisation at the Energy Systems Catapult.
