Jemima Hartshorn

Founder, Mums for Lungs
Jemima Hartshorn founded Mums for Lungs, a grassroots network of parents and other campaigners against air pollution and for children’s health, whilst on maternity leave in 2017. Mums for Lungs campaigns against traffic and wood burning pollution and collaborates with and advises other campaign groups to leverage change. The group has become a renowned stakeholder in the space. Jemima has given evidence to the London Assembly Transport Committees and is regularly featured in the media. Jemima previously worked as a human rights lawyer in the UK and Belgium, she holds an LL.M from the University of London. In 2019, she was named by the Evening Standard as one of the most influential environmental activists in London.
